THEORETICAL ASPECTS OF ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY MANAGEMENT AT INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES

Abstract

The organization of effective environmental safety management systems at industrial enterprises is an important aspect of ensuring sustainable development and environmental protection. The management system should be comprehensive, covering all levels of the enterprise - from strategic planning to operational activities. It includes the assessment of environmental risks, the development of measures to minimize them, as well as the implementation of technologies that reduce the negative impact on the environment. One of the main tools is environmental regulation, monitoring and control of emissions, waste and the use of natural resources. The main objectives of the management system are to prevent environmental pollution, preserve natural resources, reduce the impact of production processes on human health and ecosystems. An important component is personnel training, raising environmental awareness and ensuring proper supervision of the implementation of environmental standards. Employees must be familiar with the requirements of environmental standards and procedures, which allows avoiding violations and reducing the risks of pollution. The creation of such a system contributes not only to maintaining ecological balance, but also to increasing the economic efficiency of the enterprise by reducing costs for eliminating the consequences of pollution and fines for violating environmental standards. The key factor is the integration of environmental safety with other aspects of enterprise management, such as the production process, economics and occupational safety. This allows you to increase efficiency and achieve more sustainable results in the long term. The article also considers the possibility of organizing an enterprise's environmental safety management system as an integrated system of environmental management and industrial safety management. This approach allows you to combine efforts to manage various aspects of safety and sustainable development into a single system, which increases its effectiveness. The integration of these systems allows you to ensure more consistent and comprehensive management of all risks associated with the enterprise's activities. The effectiveness of integrated management systems, which allow taking into account the relationship between environmental, social and economic factors, is justified. It is shown that the use of a process approach in solving problems related to the organization of integrated environmental safety management systems allows optimizing management processes and achieving more effective implementation of legislative requirements and international standards.
