PRECONDITIONS AND FACTORS OF INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY OF UKRAINE DURING THE WAR AND POST-WAR RECONSTRUCTION

The article analyzes the prerequisites and factors of innovative development of the construction industry in Ukraine. The purpose of the article is to study the current state of the construction industry of Ukraine, identify the factors of its innovative development and determine the direction of qualitative growth. The industry development trends are established based on statistical data. The innovations in construction industry were classified as follows: implementation of innovative solutions in the processes of planning, design, construction and architectural appearance of buildings; use of modern construction machines and equipment; implementation of effective innovative construction technologies; innovations in the field of assembly works, repair, reconstruction and restoration of construction objects; creation of new building materials; application of new organizational forms of work performance. The possibilities of development and implementation of certain types of innovations for the construction industry in modern conditions and in the post-war period are considered. Based on the conducted research, the following factors of innovative development of the construction industry were identified: accelerated technical and technological modernization of construction enterprises; improvement of energy-saving and ecological indicators when creating innovative building materials and technologies; raising the level of qualification of engineers and workers in the construction industry; modernization of the regulatory and technical base in construction; improvement of the system of management of innovative activities of enterprises in the construction industry; legal and financial support for the development of innovative activities; improvement of the mechanism of financing innovative activities of the construction industry. The main directions of development of the construction industry can be called increasing the role of engineering and design, which should be based on a system of international standards and best practices.
