Abstract

Research has established that in sick men with chronic infectious processes in the urogenital tract, an increase in the concentration of products of lipid peroxidation: the intermediate – diene conjugate and the final – malondialdehyde in blood serum is noted. Along with this, a decrease in the antioxidant potential of the blood is noted in most of the examined patients, which is evidenced by a decrease in the activity of superoxide dismutase and suppression of the Phares integral index. Complex medicinal anti-inflammatory therapy for mildly symptomatic urogenital inflammatory processes does not always provide a stable therapeutic effect, since its results depend on the biological properties of pathogens, the state of the immune system, the patient's natural resistance, and the state of the antioxidant system. Based on this, in modern conditions, great attention is paid to the study of the effectiveness of drugs in the treatment and medical rehabilitation of patients with chronic urogenital pathology. The use of adenophyt-forte in the complex treatment of patients with chronic inflammation of the urogenital tract in men complicated by infertility leads to the normalization of the activity of the pro- and antioxidant systems.
