INTERNATIONAL CLASSIFICATION OF FUNCTIONING, LIFE LIMITATIONS AND HEALTH IN THE REHABILITATION OF PATIENTS WHO HAVE SURVIVED STROKE

The significant prevalence and severe socio-economic losses due to stroke worldwide require meticulous attention from cardiologists, neurologists, rehabilitation specialists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, and social workers. In persons with stroke sequelae, three leading types of disorders can be distinguished: lesion, defect; impairment of ability and social functioning. The aim of the study was to assess the impact of psychological factors on the vital activity of patients who have suffered a cerebral stroke and to determine their rehabilitation prognosis. 113 patients with arterial hypertension (AH) of stages II and III were examined. with ischemic stroke. Limitations of vital activity were assessed using the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health. Mathematical processing of the study results was performed using mathematical statistics methods. The most significant problems of people with hypertension and ischemic stroke were limitations in mobility, the main areas of daily life, communication, learning and application of knowledge, interpersonal interaction, and self-care. Psychological factors that limited the vital activity of patients with ischemic stroke included the internal picture of the disease and cognitive functions. Factors that influenced the functioning and limitation of vital activity of persons with ischemic stroke included: adequate response to the disease, character traits, emotional intelligence, stability of social attitudes, inter- and intrapsychic response to the disease, character traits, personal characteristics, character traits, memory, thinking. The psychological component of the rehabilitation potential of patients with ischemic stroke was determined. It included: euphoric TLC, limited thinking-intelligence and expressive power of the "I"-unprincipledness, short-term and visual memory, understanding of emotions, level of logical thinking, distinction of dissimilar concepts. Psychological correction aimed at these factors in persons with ischemic stroke will give the greatest result.
